Labelling and sorting

Scanvaegt designs and delivers a range of solutions for automatic labeling and sorting of products.

The solution typically consists of:

• An infeed system with product orientation ensuring correct product positioning for label application
• A labeling system that weighs, prints, and applies a label to the product. The label can be placed on the top, side, bottom, or across more sides of the product
• A sorting unit that sorts products into predefined weight groups for subsequent packing. It can also reject any defective products
• A carton labelling component for printing and applying labels to the finished cartons
• A software package for order management, label design, and communication/integration

We design the solution to be tailored to the specific product type—for example, flat salmon packages, round cheeses, or delicate vegetables. This ensures optimal, reliable product handling and precise label placement.
