Scanvaegt Systems enters Partnership with Anritsu

Scanvaegt Systems has teamed up with leading provider of industrial inspection equipment - Anritsu Infivis Ltd. - and can now offer an even wider range of inspection solutions to the food industry.

The new partnership makes Scanvaegt Systems the official distribution partner for Anritsu inspection equipment in Denmark and Finland. In addition, Anritsu is also supporting Scanvaegt Systems in Sweden, Norway, Germany and countries across Europe for those projects which include product inspection equipment as part of larger integrated solutions. 

With the extensive product range, food producers can now benefit from Scanvaegt's solutions for weighing, sorting, and labeling, which can be combined with the wide range of Anritsu's advanced inspection technologies within checkweighers, metal detectors, and X-ray systems. The combination of technology from the two companies allows Anritsu equipment to be easily integrated into existing Scanvaegt lines, as the two brands' HMI systems are so alike.

High-precision inspection

The Anritsu range includes a series of fast and accurate checkweighers with speeds up to 300 packages/minute and an accuracy down to 0.1 g. The series also includes an extremely compact combo machine with an integrated metal detector with a length of just 775 mm.

Anritsu's highly sensitive detection equipment is some of the most advanced currently available on the market. The new X-ray system XR75 DualX+ uses photon counting technology to detect the tiniest of low density contaminants such as fish bones.

Scanvaegt's employees will participate in courses at Anritsu's Support Office in Venlo, Holland, to learn all about the company's technology and exchange their shared knowledge of the industry. This sharing of expertise will remain a central feature of the agreement going forward.

New and existing Scanvaegt customers investing in Anritsu equipment will now be able to benefit from the company's after-sales support as well as 24-7 customer support from Anritsu's technology experts.
