This represents a significant improvement over traditional inspection systems, which were typically limited to handling products of 200–250 grams with an accuracy of only 1 gram.

Enhanced product safety
The combination unit is not only fast and precise, but also detects and rejects products contaminated with metal. Utilizing dual-frequency technology, the metal detector reliably identifies both magnetic and non-magnetic foreign objects.

The solution can be further upgraded with an X-ray system capable of detecting bones in poultry and fish before packaging, verifying the correct number of cookies in a tin, ensuring filled chocolates are properly filled, or confirming the exact number of pills in a blister pack.

Compact and flexible design
The new compact combination machine integrates checkweighing and metal detection into a space-efficient design. With a total length of only 775 mm and a footprint of less than 1 m², it is easy to incorporate into existing production lines and ideal for facilities with limited space.

Each unit is configured from a standard program to suit specific products, sizes, and applications. It is equipped with the most suitable of nine available rejection methods – including air-blast, T-push, and drop-down – to ensure reliable and efficient operation. The combination machine is available with either a horizontal or vertical metal detector in IP30 or IP66 configurations.
