Scanvaegt Labels increases capacity

Scanvaegt Labels has just commissioned a new Nilpeter printing press, significantly increasing printing capacity.

Our label printing facility continues to grow
Over the past few years, our label printing facility has invested in various new pieces of production equipment to ensure competitive pricing for our customers and high flexibility in production. Most recently, in February, we commissioned a new Nilpeter printing press – significantly increasing our printing capacity, allowing us to meet all customer orders efficiently.

Faster, more flexible production
Scanvaegt Labels’ machinery fleet now includes five printing presses and several full-time cutting machines. The new Nilpeter is a wide-web press with eight colour units and can print with both water-based and UV inks. In addition, the Nilpeter press is equipped with several new features, including the ability to produce labels with adhesive-side printing, as well as labels printed with gold, silver, and metallic colours.

Benefits for our customers
Together with our existing printing and cutting machines, the new press provides several advantages to our customers. It ensures high delivery reliability, as the multiple printing presses guarantee strong uptime and consistent on-time delivery. The flexibility of the machines also enables us to quickly adapt our production to meet diverse labelling requirements – even for smaller print runs.

With increased printing capacity, we are now able to produce even more labels and deliver them faster to our customers.

Environmentally friendly inks
Many customers are focused on sustainability and prefer labels printed with water-based inks, which are more environmentally friendly than UV inks. We are able to meet these needs across all five of our printing presses.
