The solution consists of a conveyor system for delivering the retail products, two, three or more manual packing stations with scale and printer, a box labelling station and a pallet labelling station.
The conveyor system feeds e.g. three different tetail products to three manual packing stations. The operator at packing station 1 is allocated to only packing product A, while the operator at packing station 2 only packs product B and the operator at packing station 3 deals with product C.
The operatorers now take each of ”their” respective retail products from the conveyor belt to the packing station where they weigh the product and pack it into a plastic tray, then they print and apply the product label, and forward the plastic tray down the conveyor belt.
By means of a photo cell at each packing station the Multi Packing Line system registers from which packing station the plastic tray originates and consequenlty which retail product is in the plastic tray.
When the plastic tray arrives at the box labelling station, a box label with the correct product text is printed and applied on the plastic tray.
From here the plastic tray is conveyed further down the line, is packed on pallets, which are delivered to the pallet labelling station, which automatically prints and applies the correct label on the pallet.
